This is a Business Development Executive role with Domain based in Sydney, Australia

More About The Business Development Executive Role At Domain

Domain's customer base by targeting agencies that are not currently using our services. This involves identifying and establishing relationships with new customers, as well as re-engaging with previous customers or accounts that have lapsed.

You are expected to bring a deep understanding of commercial dynamics to the role, with a focus on increasing business revenue and market share within the real estate sector.

Additionally, collaboration with the Marketing and Customer Experience teams is essential to optimise the inbound leads process, ensuring a seamless transition from lead generation to conversion. Overall, this role plays a critical part in Domain's growth strategy within the real estate industry.

The ideal candidate will…

  • Become a trusted advisor to agencies and build the initial Domain relationship.
  • Identify high-impact opportunities and bring them to close. Place a priority on discovery and understand client needs and capabilities.
  • Strong communication (written and oral) skills, marketing communication, working with cross functional teams. Precise time management and organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines and deal with multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Continually connect with clients and industry partners to ensure Domain solutions remain relevant and desirable in a changing market.
  • Act as an advocate for customers, influencing solution packages, and supporting marketing that aligns Domain solutions to needs.
  • Accountable for sales to designated Domain customer group or portfolio, and achievement of sales goals.
  • Take accountability for team goals and informally support and mentor peers.
