Key responsibilities of the role

· Ensure the effective operations across our clients tenanted properties

· To manage a range of contractors and consultants on behalf of our client’s tenanted corporate sites to ensure infrastructure solutions are compliant and delivered on time and on budget. These include but are not limited to:

  • Cleaning contractors
  • Essential Safety Measures
  • Lifts
  • HVAC
  • Security

· Establish and mange contracts for building management to ensure value for money and compliance whilst delivering a high standard of customer service and compliance.

· To prepare and deliver a capital facilities plan and budget for the corporate facilities as mentioned above.

· To ensure strong internal / external stakeholder communication is maintained with all routine contractors.

· To ensure all key documentation is obtained, recorded on clients approved Information Management System, and building compliance requirements shared with the relevant teams

· Work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure infrastructure compliance is maintained.

· Ability to execute, manage and continuously improve processes.

· Ability to remain on call 24/7 and respond as required.

· Ability to travel between various corporate sites as required.

· Perform other duties as assigned within your scope of practice/work

Key Selection criteria

· Demonstrated successful experience within infrastructure management such as engineering, architecture, project management, or strategic asset management functions over multiple sites with strong a customer focus.

· Demonstrated experience in preparing and managing maintenance and facilities contracts including specifications, supervision, budgeting, monitoring, reporting.

· Well-developed written and oral communication skills with the ability to:

o Prepare reports, briefings, and policy documents.

o Prepare tender documents and contract proposals.

o Engage in well-developed interpersonal and customer service skills with emotional intelligence, including the capability to communicate effectively with school Principals and consultants.

o Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders including senior personnel in Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools, Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne, and Government Agencies.

o Manage and report on building contractual issues.

• High level knowledge and skills working with relevant software packages, especially within the Microsoft Office package.

• Negotiate and manage contracts for, but not limited to cleaning, maintenance, security and essential services.

• Excellent time management skills in prioritising and planning workloads in order to meet strict deadlines.

• High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in scoping, programming, and managing budgets.

This role will be a temporary assignment until approximately 20th Dec with the potential to become permanent.

Hours – Monday – Friday onsite

Hourly rate $60-$70 per hour + super depending on experience
