What you’ll do
- Monitor and assess Fruit & Veg lines delivered to the distribution centre (DC)
- Validate the compliance with product quality and labelling specifications set by the Woolworths quality assurance team & government legislation
- Collaborate with the Commercial Buying Team to ensure we are delivering the best quality offer for store operations to enhance customer experience
- Deliver safe, quality products in line with Woolworth's specifications and company KPI’s
What you’ll bring
- Driven by a customer mission and passionate about being part of a tribe of great people.
- Previous experience in a similar role working in a highly regulated environment is highly desirable
- High attention to detail and are able to follow processes.
- Farming / Retail fruit & veg / Agronomy and/or Agriculture / Hospitality (Food) / Quality Assurance experience
- Understanding of supermarket retailing and commercial processes
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Computer skills in MS or Google Suites
- There is some physical work so you need to be able to lift and move boxes.
