Roster: 1x Rotating Day Shift (including weekends)

1x Rotating Night Shift (including weekends)

1x Afternoon Shift

We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our company as a Part-time Security Officer. As a vital member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, employees, visitors, parents and assets.

This role is based in a prestigious school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe environment all students, parents, onsite staff and visitors
  • Assist the Security Supervisor with administration duties and maintenance inspections
  • Assist with Event set-ups and classroom setups
  • Assist with signage for events and reserved parking
  • Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorised individuals are permitted entry.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and deter any suspicious activity.
  • Respond prompty to security incidents, emergencies or alarms following established protocols and procedures.
  • Assisting staff with access issues.
  • Assist with traffic control for school drop off and pick up.
  • Maintain accurate records of Activity logs, incidents and security-related activities.

Requirements:

  • Must have Security Licence.
  • Have a can do attitude
  • Proven experience in security or customer service role..
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must have Working with Children Clearance or able to obtain before start of employement.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications.

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

  • Driver Licence (Preferred)
  • Working with Children Check? (Preferred)
  • 1AC Security licence (Required)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (Required)

Work Location: In person
