About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated and dynamic individual to join the leadership team at Runcorn State High School in the role of Head of Department eLearning and Technologies. In this role you will lead the curriculum areas of Digital Technologies; Industrial Technology and Design; and Hospitality/Food Studies in line with departmental initiatives. You will also be responsible for the leadership of eLearning pedagogy and BYOx initiatives across the school, including managing IT infrastructure and support.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the relevant curriculum areas/whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
  • Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
