The Role:
A newly created Senior Payroll Officer role, based from my clients Brisbane office has just been created.
In this role you will proactively coordinate, process, and manage all aspects of the payroll function to ensure accuracy, efficiency and expediency, all with a high level of attention to detail needed.
You will perform end-to-end payroll processing duties throughout the day & as needed.
Some of the daily duties whilst in this role include but are not limited to:
- Ensure all NZ payrolls (small amount of AUS payroll) are processed in line with relevant legislation, accurately & on time
- Pay the right people the right amount at the right time.
- Understanding each staff member's individual payroll requirements and execute against these
- Keep up to date with Payroll and related industry knowledge
- Maintaining customer records on internal systems
The Candidate:
- 4+ Years End-To-End NZ & AUS Payroll Processing Experience
- Advanced experience with processing both Salaries & Wages
- iChris & Chris21 Experience - MANDATORY
- Kronos Experience - DESIRABLE
- High-Volume Pay Run
- Analytics for Employee Wages
- Super Reconciliation
- Payroll Tax Reconciliation
- Knowledge of Industrial Awards & EBAs (highly regarded)
- LSL
