We seek a dedicated Service Manager to join and lead our beautiful Bargara community. This role suits seasoned Aged Care Service Managers who will collaborate under the guidance of our Operations Manager and Chief Operating Officer to ensure top-notch care delivery to our residents while providing leadership to the care team.
To maintain our culture of care, we seek a hands-on leader with a proven track record in leadership. Leading by example, you'll be an accessible mentor committed to quality. Familiarity with the new Aged Care Quality Standards is advantageous, but an unwavering dedication to our PLC Promise for excellence is paramount.

This role is a full-time permanent position, which drive cultural practices to ensure top-tier services are provided to our residents. A proven track record in finance, human resources, workplace health and safety, and legislative compliance is essential.

Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of senior management experience in aged care or related sectors (hospitality, health).
- Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Assurance Programs.
- Effective communication skills across all levels.
- Proactive with a collaborative problem-solving approach to solutions.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with Autumn Care is advantageous.
- Applicants must undergo a valid national police check and pre-employment medical assessment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a diverse team across clinical care, administration, HR, and hotel services.
- Assist in roster preparation on a fortnightly basis as well as face-to-face orientations for new starters.
- Maintain accessibility to residents, their representatives, and your team.
- Ensure residents feel respected and well-cared for, adhering to evidence-based best practices.
- Stay updated on legislative requirements and changes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the management system.
- Support Palm Lake Care's strategic direction, growth, and continuous improvement.
