Program Manager, Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs

The Program Management Office (PMO) carries oversight and supports governance and program management of the department's significant investment and reform initiatives across the youth justice and Information Communication Technology (ICT) portfolios and leads department reporting to oversight bodies.
The PMO maintains program and project management resources, advises on best practice methodologies and frameworks to support project delivery; and undertakes assurance reviews at important project and program decision gates to identify and mitigate against risks for the department.
- Provide leadership, expert analysis and interpretation of the evidence base for youth justice data collection, analysis and program measurement for the department.
- Coordinate the provision of authoritative, professional and timely advice on youth justice policy and service delivery.
- Provide expert advice and strategic input into the development and monitoring of program deliverables, ensuring alignment with government commitments.
- Lead effective stakeholder engagement with a wide range of organisations, agencies and offices.
- Coordinate submissions, documentation, proposals and initiatives and contribute a strategic perspective to responses.
- Manage projects of a complex, sensitive and contentious nature.
- Coordinate and/or conduct research into youth justice policy and services.
- Active participation in and contribution to the governance and strategic objectives of Youth Justice and the department. Applications to remain current for 12 months
