We are currently seeking applicants for a role to lead our Wholesale Signia Sales team, Sales Director – Independent Sales Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). The ideal candidate will be solution-oriented and driven by customer centricity to continue and expand the market leading position Signia holds within the Australian and New Zealand Audiology market.
About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced candidate with a proven track record in sales management, customer relationship and exceptional leadership skills. Whilst a deep understanding of the ANZ hearing aid industry would be highly regarded, it is not a requirement. Reporting to the Commercial Director (Based in Brisbane, Australia), the preference for the candidate is that you are Brisbane based, but we are open to the flexible for the right candidate.
The key responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:
- Continue to drive and expand Signia’s position within the Independent market by developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve company targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a national sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Business Owners and Hearing Care Professionals.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive initiatives to capture market share.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment and maximize sales effectiveness.
- Represent Signia at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
What you bring
- Degree in Audiology, Business, or a related field.
- Solid sales management experience, preferably in the hearing aid or medical device industry.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with a track record of driving sales success.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey ideas, provide feedback, and interact with clients, team members, and other stakeholders effectively.
- Display strong financial acumen with skills to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports related to sales activities.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Adaptability to quickly adjust to changing market conditions, customer needs, and internal processes. As well as an enthusiasm to stay updated with industry trends, new sales techniques, and best practices.
- Deep understanding of the products or services being sold to effectively communicate their benefits.
- Ability to travel nationally (and internationally on occasion) as required.
