Our focus is to deliver reliable software with friendly licensing, and industry-leading direct support - all at a fair price.We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our team in Australia. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners, and driving the growth and profitability of our organization.Reporting to the VP APAC region, your key responsibilities includeBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and potential clients through effective monthly networking and face-to-face meetings.Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, providing them with the necessary training, resources, and support to effectively sell and promote our products/services.Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and business plans to prospective clients, effectively communicating our value proposition and unique business value.Negotiate and close business deals, contracts, and agreements with clients or in support of partners, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes and long-term partnerships.Collaborate with channel partners to develop joint business plans, set sales targets, and execute marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate leads.Conduct regular business reviews with channel partners to assess performance, address challenges, and identify opportunities for improvement.Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.Additional responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and successful execution of local business strategies.Identify and research potential business opportunities in the local market, including target industries, companies, and market trends, recommending adjustments to business strategies as needed.Develop and implement comprehensive channel strategies to expand our client base, increase revenue, and achieve sales targets.Identify and recruit potential channel partners, including distributors, resellers, and value-added resellers (VARs), that align with our business goals and target customer segments.The role is offered on a regular, full-time employment contract basis and can be performed remotely within the country of residence (Australia).Your profileDegree in a relevant domain.5+ years' experience in

software sales , acquired in business development, sales, channel management, or similar commercial roles targeting the local market.Excellent understanding of the local business environment, market dynamics, and cultural nuances.Familiarity with CAD/CAM/BIM industry and/or target client verticals (AEC/Manufacturing) is a strong asset.Strong track record of successfully identifying, pursuing, and closing business deals, consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.Ability to plan and execute work independently.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively negotiate with partners and clients at all levels.Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic business plans, including market analysis, target setting, and forecasting.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.Availability to travel intensively within the region when needed, to pursue targets.The role represents an excellent opportunity to join a successful company on a mission to delight its customers and deliver significant growth.Interested?
