- Active participation in research, teaching and administration. This involves- Developing and strengthening the independent research profile
- Involvement in research projects / research studies
- International publications and presentations
- Independent teaching of courses as defined by the collective agreement
- Supervision of students
- Participation in evaluation measures and quality assurance
- Involvement in the department administration

**Requirements**:
**Skills/Qualifications**
- Completed doctorate/PhD in the field of 'Political Science' with an Alevi religious-political and/or intercultural focus, 'Islamic Studies', 'Alevi Theology' or a comparable discipline.
- Relevant knowledge in migration and integration research with a focus on minorities from Turkey in Europe - in particular Alevis and Alevi Theology as well as Alevi community life.- Methodological competence in qualitative and quantitative empirical research
- High ability to express yourself both orally and in writing
- Obligatory language(s): English, Turkish
- Good IT user skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Independent work form

Desirable qualifications are- Relevant knowledge of Alevi adult education in Alevi communities and universities.
- Knowledge of university processes and structures
- Experience abroad
- Experience of supervising students
