Sales Manager Digital Solutions

We are looking to hire a customer-oriented Sales Manager Digital Solutions within the After-Sales Business for INNIO’s Energy Management products.
As a Sales Manager for Digital Optimization Solutions at INNIO, your primary responsibility is to develop the market for power plant optimizations and energy trading in Germany. You will be tasked with identifying potential customers, building strong relationships within the German energy industry, and promoting INNIO's Energy Management products. This role requires a deep understanding of the competitive landscape in power plant optimizations and energy trading, as well as the ability to comprehend customer needs and deliver value propositions that lead to successful deals.

**Your Responsibilities**:
- **Market Development**: Proactively identify and target potential customers within the German energy industry, including municipal utilities, bio-gas producers, industrial clients, and power plant operators
- **Relationship Building**: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and business partners by understanding their unique needs and offering tailored solutions
- **Solution Sales**:Educate customers on INNIO's digital optimization solutions, utilizing a problem-solving approach to align the products with their specific requirements
- **Customer Acquisition**: Actively pursue and win new customers while effectively managing and retaining existing customer accounts. Build strong relationships to customers, understanding and caring for their businesses. Transform leads into sales through successful sales strategies
- **Competitive Landscape**: Stay updated on the competitive landscape within the power plant optimization and energy trading sectors, keeping abreast of industry trends, technologies, and emerging players. Actively research competitors’ products, pricing, and product success to determine market dynamics
- **Education-Based Selling**: Utilize education-based selling tactics to inform customers about the benefits and advantages of INNIO's Energy Management products and how it can help to transform customer’s power plants to increase value
- **Sales Targets**: Work towards achieving and exceeding sales targets and objectives within the designated territory and market segments, in particular within the bio-gas and/or municipal utility power plant customer range. Manage your sales opportunities, your pipeline in an agile and self-organized matter. Prepare and provide regular sales reports as well as sales plans
**Your Profile**:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or similar
- Fluency in German and English (oral and written)
- Very strong experience in sales and new business models, preferably in the German energy production and trading industry
- Strong knowledge of power plant optimization, energy trading, and related digital solutions, able to talk about flexibility of power plants, power-heat coupling and electricity markets
- Ability to understand complex customer needs and tailor value propositions accordingly
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach
- Proven track record of successfully closing opportunities for digital solutions
- Familiarity with municipal utilities, bio-gas, industrial clients, and power plant operations
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and enthusiastic about articulating technical and business values
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills as well as high self-motivation to drive the sales cycle to exceed sales goals
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 3.790,58 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
