Environmental Sustainability Manager

**Your Responsibilities**
- Driving our organization environmental sustainability goals and contributing to maximizing its positive environmental impact
- Collaborate with the legal department and external experts to ensure accurate interpretation of environmental sustainability legislation.
- Ensure compliance with EU legislation, including the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism and EcoDesign regulation.
- Support Investor Relations on legal compliance for environmental aspects, including EU Taxonomy and Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
- Collaborate with the legal department and external experts to ensure accurate interpretation of environmental sustainability legislation.
- Ensure alignment of the company's portfolio with EU EcoDesign regulations, creating product pass study reports.
- Assist Product Management and Engineering teams in reducing the environmental footprint of products and solutions.
- Research additional emission reduction and environmental impact mitigation opportunities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement environmental impact reduction initiatives.
- Lead sustainability certification initiatives (e.g., EcoVadis, Ökoprofit).
- Conduct internal sustainability education and engagement activities.
- Consequent and reliable information sharing within the team via collaboration tools (Confluence) to allow re-use and prevent double work
**Your Profile**
- Master’s degree in business, Technical, or Sustainability-focused field
- Previous experience in sustainability, with skills in project and stakeholder management.
- High sense of responsibility and proactive approach to driving sustainability objectives
- Strong networking skills for building internal and external sustainability support.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with solid organizational, analytical, and conceptual abilities.
- Presentation skills, creativity, and intercultural competence.
- High initiative, teamwork orientation, and the ability to lead agilely in cross-functional project teams.
- Fluency in English and German with excellent written and verbal communication.
