Regional Information Protection & Security Officer (f/m/d) -226471

**THE POSITION**

We are looking for motivated and experienced talents to strengthen our global IT Security Team. The role will include the responsibility for the CEE region and is based in Vienna/Austria. Especially in current times it gets more important to identify threats, to assess risks and to establish mitigation actions in a fast manner. Therefore, profound experiences about Security Technologies, Cyber Security and OT Security Trends as well as the use of efficient risk mitigation measures is essential to safeguard our data, information and finally the company’s competitiveness.

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- As Regional Information Protection (IP) & Security Officer you ensure an appropriate level of IP & Security for the corporation and that we always comply with the security regulations and requirements. You coordinate all IP & Security relevant topics within the CEE region (30+ countries, incl. Switzerland and Israel)
- You guide and consult colleagues in business and functional areas to understand and establish acceptable levels of risk within the respective location/region
- You contribute your expertise to work on the creation of a global IP & Security strategy and facilitate a consistent and effective implementation. Throughout the company, you drive IP & Security awareness, activities and behavior through regional representation and trainings in proximity to the business partners
- As an expert for IT Security you review new technical solutions and IT systems including cloud initiatives, and evaluate their security risks and propose mitigation measures

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT or equivalent and a profound IT Security knowledge and experience including ISO27001/002, NIST, Security Risk Management, Information Classification (GRC), Cloud Risk Assessments and frameworks (CSA, CCM)
- Technical knowledge of and experience with Information Security architecture and systems including best practices for all areas of Information Security
- Experienced in security technology such as next generation firewall, advanced persistent threat detection, mobile device management, multi factor authentication, CERT and SOC processes
- Excellent communications skills to convey information security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff
- Fluent in German and English with work experience in global, multicultural and virtual teams

We offer an attractive salary package in line with your qualification, experience and individual competencies. The base pay is composed of a market oriented excess payment and the respective amount according to the Austrian collective agreement (at least € 65,000 gross per year/full-time).
