Business Insights Manager with Sales Force

**What you’ll do**
In this role you will be a member of Innovation & Business Excellence Team and work very closely with a Commercial Team. You will be accountable for developing and communicating actionable insights that effectively shape brand strategies and tactics in specific therapy area(s). The second key aspect of the role is to improve our ways to measure and track performance and effectiveness of sales force. The job holder acts as the business partner connecting Business Intelligence, Finance and Marketing & Sales.

**Market Insights**
- Works with cross functional Brand Team to analyse market data and identify key segment drivers, growth opportunities, insights and business threats as the fundament for the brand strategy,
- Supports the Brand Manager with analysis markets (including patients), stakeholders, competitors and brands with a high level of expertise. Utilizes complex analytical methods to identify brand opportunities.
- Works closely with Finance and Marketing during the multiple forecasting cycles
- leading the aspects of patient models.
- Leads the brand team in the design and implementation of market research projects, leveraging past experiences and insights, ensuring translation of research findings into strategy and tactics.
- Adding value to the commercial organization beyond their analytical skills through their understanding of secondary data, industry knowledge, and track record of innovative and impactful decision support.
- Develop insightful reports and delivery of presentations that clearly and succinctly highlight the actionable insights combined with business implications/strategic & tactical options
- Proactively identify business needs and build research/analysis with foresight
**Sales force effectiveness**
- Actively engaging with Marketing and Sales to identify opportunities, provide recommendations, and implement key initiatives that drive competitive advantage and create a platform for flawless execution in the commercial organization.
- Working with the commercial leaders to design Go-To -Market models, effective structures and sales territories.
- Define & drive Segmentation & Targeting (S&T) process within specific TA (s)
- Leading the Sales Incentive Process and carry out relevant calculations
- Lead the implementation and successful deployment of new profiling data, in close collaboration with Sales Managers
- Drive Call Plan process by validating Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) lists and get buy in from Sales Force, calculating optimal call frequencies
- Work closely with IT to ensure the Segmentation & Targeting (S&T) data is ready in CRM tool
- Supporting our Key Account Management Excellence approach by ensuring high quality templates/systems to collect relevant and actionable insights
**Essential for the role**:
- University degree in business administration or comparable studies
- Fluent in German and English
- Background in pharmaceuticals industry or FMCG 5 years +
- Sales Force Effectiveness/market research experience is a must
- Profound skills in market and competitor analysis
- Knowledge of Finance/P&L/Forecasting
- Microsoft Excel Advanced level
- Strong analytical skills and high learning agility
- Strong leadership and influencing skills
- Superior ability to communicate, collaborate effectively
- Excellent project management capabilities
- Affinity to CRM and IT systems
**Desirable for the role**:
- Sales experience is advantage
- Digital/Multichannel experience is advantage
