Sales Development Representative Intern

JOIN is an eCommerce AI-powered platform that helps growing and mature online businesses increase sales and conversions by delivering unique personalized shopping experiences to their online store visitors.
As the second Sales hire at LimeSpot, you will be a key member of our team and reporting directly to the VP of Sales. You will be responsible for educating prospective customers about LimeSpot products, prospecting, qualifying and developing sales qualified leads in order to support the growth of our business. If you’re excited about eCommerce, looking for an opportunity to join a stellar early-stage B2B start-up team and deliver incredible value to businesses, then this is the role for you. This position has a base salary and incentive compensation as part of the On-Target Earnings (OTE).
Tasks
As an SDR you will be developing and progressing leads on the outbound sales side. Outbound means that we initiate the first touch point with buyer personas and ideal customer profiles (ICP) that have never engaged with LimeSpot before.
1) Manage prospects from lead generation to demo stage of the internal sales process with the ability to articulate value proposition, navigate objections and foster relationships
3) Set-up demo meetings for sales team and qualified prospective clients.
4) Work closely with the sales and marketing team to accelerate the sales cycle and extend our reach into target accounts
5) Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly quotas for developed sales qualified leads (SQLs) as set forth by the VP of Sales
**Requirements**:
- A./B.S. degree required
- 1 - 3 years of experience in B2B Tech Startup Sales Development, Lead Generation, Sales
- Proven track record achieving measurable inside sales goals in an automated sales environment where accurate entry and management of lead data in a CRM system was required
- Strong sales aptitude and fundamental understanding of the sales process.
- Sound tech-savvy, business acumen and the ability to articulate a compelling value proposition in a complex and evolving business environment.
- Knack for identifying and understanding customer pain then presenting LimeSpot solutions which cure that pain.
- Drive to meet and beat sales development quotas
- Demonstrated strong skills in qualifying prospects.
- Ability to effectively utilize CRM and other sales automation tools
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with senior level executives
- No trepidation about speaking live with prospects and ability to build successful client relationships and overcome objections/rejections over the phone
- Ability to thrive in an early-stage startup environment with an ever-evolving product.
- Passion and desire to work in a startup culture and directly impacting the growth of the company
- The right mindset and capability for successfully working remotely and maintaining a collaborative close-knit relationship with other LimeSpot team members
- Experience at a fast-paced startup is a plus
