**Tasks**

HOERBIGER Business Unit EET Engine Technology is a supplier of unique products in technology focused markets. EET Engine Technology is one of the lead suppliers for performance defining technology for natural gas and hydrogen internal combustion engines to diverse OEMs.

Senior Buyer is part of the product management department of HOERBIGER EET Engine Technology and forms independent purchasing entity within EET Engine Technology. Senior Buyer operates in a highly competitive market environment. It is a crucial success factor in achieving our ambitious goals and the transformation towards the production of products for hydrogen and other gaseous fuel combustion engines.

As Senior Buyer (M/F/d) for Direct Materials (Productive Materials), you will be independently responsible for the procurement of requirements and will actively shape the long-term development of purchasing within EET Engine Technology.
- create and process supplier inquiries, negotiate terms and conditions, carrie out ordering processes and be responsible for placing orders and monitoring deadlines as well as handling complaints
- ensure the costs, quality and availability of the volumes to be procured
- manage existing supplier relationships and lead the selection of new suppliers
- closely cooperates with production plant located in Poland as well as in Vienna

**Requirements**:

- university degree in the commercial/technical field (e.g. mechanical engineering or industrial engineering) or have an equivalent qualification
- have professional experience and knowledge in the legal processing of contracts in connection with suppliers
- characterized by strong communication skills, negotiation skills, assertiveness and the ability to work in a team
- will to develop yourself further and are willing to take on more responsibility
- Strong language skills (oral and written) in English and German
- Self-motivated, hands-on approach
- Experience in automotive industry is advantage
