TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. They execute the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.

The Strategic Sourcing Manager—PBL EMEA needs to lead the regional team to define and implement sourcing strategies for PBL commodities and suppliers in order to reach the respective sourcing targets in delivery, productivity, cost and quality. This position is responsible for commodity strategy, cost management, supplier base management, supplier performance management and supplier compliance with relevant TE requirements. Moreover, the people manager position needs to develop and manage a capable team to fulfil KPI target, to evaluate team’s capability and performance, and support team to further upgrade the overall competency.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the team to drive the attainment of relevant procurement KPI’s, incl. Material Productivity, Lead time performance, delivery, and Quality.
- Create a supplier sourcing strategy and conduct supplier base management (new supplier introduction, supplier phase out and supplier base increasement & reduction, etc) according to commodity strategy.
- Manage supplier performance with scorecard and QBRs, co-work with related functions for supplier classification, supplier footprint and resourcing activities
- Drive continuous cost improvement and material productivity with necessary cost mode/tool, cost drivers, cost analysis and saving pipeline, etc. Responsible for contracting of supplier commercial agreements, incl. bailment, inventory management and supply agreements.
- Support supply chain team on supply issue, review and plan the capabilities and capacities of suppliers to avoid constraintsConduct risk assessments for new suppliers and legacy suppliers not done yet.
- Ensure that all suppliers meet TE requirements for compliance (RoHs, Reach, conflict minerals, supplier portal usage)
- Lead NPI projects and ensure NPI alignment to global sourcing commodity strategy.
- Team budget& team management. Build, develop, lead and inspire whole team and upgrade the overall competency with necessary mentoring, training and motivation.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor degree in Economics or Business Administration or equivalent
- 10+ years commodity management experience or strategic procurement experience.
- 3+ years people management experience
- Sourcing experience for relevant commodities (PBL, Outsourcing, subcontracting) is a plus

- Knowledge of regional and global supplier base for relevant commodities
- Advanced knowledge in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint
- Fluent English at negotiation level, local language is a plus
