Within our Customer Credit Department, we are looking for a Credit Analyst (M/F/d) supporting our business targets while maintaining a well balanced risk/reward approach. In this role, you will perform Customer credit risk management in accordance with our Credit Control Procedures in order to efficiently minimize the credit risk exposure for Borealis and keep Borealis bad debts at lowest levels possible.

Your tasks include:

- to analyze and describe Customer credit risk considering Customer’s Financials and other external and company-internal credit risk information.
- to assign appropriate credit limits to our Customers based on business requirements and Customer credit ratings within your credit authority
- to submit consistent and complete credit recommendations to credit approvers above your credit authority
- to initiate actions that will benefit sales efforts, including offering and explaining creative financing alternatives when risk levels deem necessary - sometimes direct communication with our Customers
- to act as a credit representative and interface towards our sales organisation and explain credit control procedure and practicalities.
- to monitor and report overdue invoices towards our sales organization and take appropriate actions in case of blocked orders on credit hold and coach the collection team to solve overdue/credit-related issues.
- to contribute in credit process improvement initiatives representing credit department requirements.
- to prepare and report regularly on relevant credit items (such as for example, commercial risk usage, overdue status, DSO and DOO, risk category spread,).
