Our program prepares you for a unique career in UniCredit. This year we offer position in the following area: Business Data Science / Data Engineering at CVM/Pricing & Profitability Unit.

The new “Pricing & Profitability” unit in Bank Austria has the mission of proactively creating the conditions under which more sustainable business outcomes are the natural result. The team consists of several experts coming from diverse backgrounds, who manage the whole Retail product & service portfolio with a fully customer-centric and data-driven approach. With a clear task of leading the way for the bank to transform its Retail business, the unit needs a young talent with data engineering skills and an ambition to become a data story-teller.**What you can expect from us**:
Key responsibilities on the target area:

- Set-up of customer base tables
- Support of data governance activities (i.e. data catalogues / look up tables, etc.)
- Set-up of development environments and infrastructure for advanced analytics & data science practices
- Set-up of database interfaces

About the program:

- You will start the program directly in your target area and together with graduates from other areas as part of a group
- A former graduate and a buddy (teammate) will support you in your onboarding and in building your network
- As part of the graduate program, you will complete several rotations and experience stays in the business units around Commercial Banking (including experience stays in the branch), Finance, Risk Management as well as in the internal areas such as Audit, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, HR to get an overall view
- You will receive professional training consisting of various modules, taught using different teaching methods such as Teams calls or classroom sessions and individually adapted to the respective target position to make you fit for the bank
- Our so-called "Generation Lead", an experienced manager from the bank, supports you as a direct contact person and helps you to get the most out of the program
- At numerous networking events, you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with top management and gain visibility
- You will have the opportunity to get involved in different communities and participate in cross-divisional projects

**What we expect from you**:
We are looking for curious, ambitious, self-driven personalities with solution-oriented thinking; and who are interested in exciting new challenges:

- Completed, relevant degree (Bachelor or Master), strong internship track record or comparable work experience and proven interest in business data science / data engineering
- Comfortable in working with large data quantities, managing complexity and details, while not losing the view on big picture and priorities
- Knowledge of SQL and structured data / database
- Knowledge of Python and/or R
- Initial practical experience (max. three years of professional experience in the target area) and willingness to enrich it via solving concrete business problems, providing data-driven insight on strategic priorities
- Strong communication skills. Very good knowledge of German and English, in both spoken and written form
