**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Typically 5 years of experience with customers and partners in the enterprise cybersecurity field.
- Ability to communicate in German fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Experience in public sector.
- Experience starting a territory from scratch and understanding the security partner ecosystem.
- Knowledge of market trends in Google Cloud and cybersecurity industry (e.g., ransomware, attack frameworks, zero trust, etc.).
- Ability to build strong and continuous relationships, promoting to C-level executives across security and IT business units, ensure customer success and adoption, leading to customer expansion.
- Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize business activity with attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, presentation, and active listening skills.

**About the job**:
As a Security Sales Specialist, you will help us grow our cybersecurity business by building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers. You will work with customers to deliver true business value, demonstrate product functionality and provide a comprehensive overview of key business use cases. You will lead day-to-day relationships with external customer stakeholders, leading with empathy, while identifying innovative ways to multiply the impact of the team. You will have shared responsibility to uphold and grow an exceptional, winning team culture. You will partner with internal Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Sales teams to grow their security businesses and drive overall value for GCP.

**Responsibilities**:

- Construct and execute an effective territory development plan. Promote security products in the territory to new and existing security customers, meeting or exceeding quarterly goals.
- Develop and drive pipeline, managing cycles, from lead generation to customer onboarding.
- Build and maintain relationships to influence long-term strategic direction. Act as a trusted advisor to the account.
- Partner with Marketing, Customer Engineering, GCP, Customer Success, Channels, Product and Engineering teams to understand the customer and provide excellent prospects and customer experience.
- Represent Google Cloud Security in regional forecasts, all hands and team meetings. Serve as a stakeholder to regional Cloud leads, reporting current, accurate and timely forecasting and business performance in Salesforce and other tools.
