OMV operates around 1,700 filling stations in eight European countries. In the Energy segment, OMV explores and produces oil and gas in the four core regions of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, North Sea, and Asia-Pacific. Average daily production in 2022 amounted to 392 kboe/d. Its activities also include the Low Carbon Business as well as the entire gas business.- Our business**Your tasks**
- Lead the analysis and interpretation of market data, macro-economic / energy economics framework, green products, studies on new markets and new business models, corporate M&A, to provide actionable insights for strategic positioning, decision making and potential growth in new markets for OMV Group.
- Develop and implement robust pricing and supply/demand models for different market scenarios, develop planning assumptions (e.g. macro data, product prices) for mid
- and long-term which are used among others for projects final investment decisions, impairment testing, final approval of group financial and strategic planning, having significant impact on Group strategic target setting and incentive plans.
- Develop and implement proactive competitive insights to anticipate competitor moves before they become evident through systematic tracking.
- Actively engage with external stakeholders to provide insights into the Group as well as with key internal stakeholders to provide strategic intelligence.
- Act as the Group go-to trusted senior advisor for the OMV Group’s senior management, including the Executive Board on all the topics from above, with specific focus on advising on impact and actionable insights for the OMV Strategy.
- Build and lead a high-performing strategic intelligence team of 8-10 people, while fostering a culture of sharing and continuous learning.

**Your profile**
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or related field.
- At least 15 years of relevant professional experience, with deep knowledge of energy & chemical market dynamics and value drivers, impact of regulations, geopolitics and economy.
- Good understanding of the energy transition and sustainability.
- People management experience, with focus on managing expert teams.
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Excellent English language skills
