The University of Vienna’s International Office is looking to appoint a dedicated individual with a European mindset in the role of Circle U. Project Manager to support the university’s engagement with the Circle U. Alliance.

Circle U. is a university network of nine research-intensive public universities, dedicated to working together in teaching and research. The primary focus of the Project Manager will be to provide effective support to the Circle U. Lead in the operative management of the project, implement Circle U. activities and further embed the alliance throughout the University of Vienna.

The offer from the University of Vienna (UoV) is a full-time permanent position as Project Manager, starting as soon as possible. Part-time (32 hours and more) is negotiable.

A fair salary: A competitive salary in line with the Collective Labour Agreement, level IIIb/experience level 1, of EUR 2.991 (14 month salary, gross, full-time) or more, depending on your professional experience

**Extent of Employment**: 40 hours/week

Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: -54 VwGr. IIIb with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.

The tasks of the appointee will be as follows:

- Ensure smooth management of the Circle U. Erasmus+ project (12.8 million EUR in total) at the University of Vienna, overseeing the timely delivery of all required project outputs and fulfilling all reporting requirements associated with this project
- Support the Circle U. Lead, in close cooperation with the Head of the International Office, in the execution of project tasks, ensuring continuous alignment with the university´s priorities and strategic objectives
- Prepare meeting agendas, and presentations
- Contribute to the drafting of reports and policy recommendations at project and alliance level
- Manage the organisation of meetings and events
- Engage with the university and alliance community as well as external stakeholders

The position also involves some travelling, mostly to Circle U. events.

**Profile**:

- Strong project management skills
- Experience in preparing European project documentation, including financial and project reports, an asset
- At least three years of relevant professional experience
- Preferably a master’s degree
- Fluent in German and English (at least C1 in both languages)
- Knowledge of the University of Vienna and/or university structures and processes an asset
- Strong communication and excellent interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving attitude
- Ideally, a good sense of humour
