**About the job**

As Project & Funding Specialist you will report directly to the Head of Innovation & Pioneer Research and will be responsible for managing and supporting projects based on the RHI Magnesita innovation strategy and R&D developments. You will handle the entire funding process for the Innovation and Pioneer Research area, from initiating and administrating, up to the successful closure. You will mainly be responsible for administration and management of an on-going EU funded project in close cooperation with the consortium partners and with a focus on funding and administrating all consortium initiatives and meetings.

**In addition, your tasks will include**
- Market screening for identifying funding possibilities for new projects
- Administering university cooperations and other partnering relationships
- Supporting the innovation management team in procurement activities,
- Communicating with the responsible purchasing team regarding planned innovation activities and contract requirements from the partnering company/institution

**What we expect from you in terms of**

**Education & Skills**
- A degree in natural sciences or engineering (Master’s or PhD)
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

**Languages**
- English - Proficient/Fluent
- Any other language is considered as an asset

**Work Experience**
- A couple of years of relevant professional experience in project management and working with universities, research institutes and SMEs for various research projects
- Experience in writing technical reports, scientific publications and conference papers

The annual gross salary for this position will start from € 53.000,00 on a full-time basis, depending on your qualification and experience, as well as the amount of overtime and your level of seniority.
