**Your role**:
- Secure strong commercial positioning in our core fuels customer segments and drive the strategic and sustainable transformation of our portfolio beyond the core through customer-centric business development and innovation
- Develop deep understanding for our b2b customer segments and their future business needs (market & competitive trends, disruptions, end-customer needs, sustainability regulations & goals, etc.)
- Establish a strong internal and external network and ecosystem to systematically screen and generate concrete emerging business opportunities that support OMV Strategy 2030
- Develop customer segment strategies and value propositions that differentiate from competition
- Enable profitable portfolio growth and increase share of sustainable products / services
- Actively shape future customer needs and market demand by creating commercially attractive and sustainable b2b solutions in close alignment with internal and external stakeholders
- Originate, design and drive implementation of new customer-oriented partnerships, new business models and innovative product / service offering (from idea generation to feasibility studies & business plans, piloting, and implementation roadmaps to launch)
- Shape and utilize customer-centric innovation processes and methodologies in close cooperation with digital and technical innovation departments
- Lead interdisciplinary and international business development projects and project teams
**Your profile**:
- University Degree Master/Diploma in Business Administration & Management, Marketing, Project Management, or related disciplines
- Minimum 12 years of relevant working experience in business development, new business generation or management consulting, ideally in a b2b context
- Proven track record of developing and delivering new business models and opportunities
- Experience in working with key customer segments (i.g.: aviation, marine, commercial road transport, industry)
- Strong understanding of relevant value chains and key value drivers in the industry
- Hands-on execution and project management capabilities
- Experience in leading interdisciplinary and international project teams
- Outstanding conceptual thinking and ability to develop solutions for complex problems in a dynamic market environment
- Customer
- and partnership-oriented personality with strong communication and negotiation skills
- Entrepreneurial and growth mindset
- Fluent in English; knowledge of German or CEE languages is an advantage
