**About The Position**

Reporting to the Procurement Lead Plasma, the **Procurement Business Partner (m/w/d)** holds responsibilities and accountabilities in 8 key areas:

- Continuity of Supply and Services

- Procurement Alignment
- Sourcing
- Compliance

As a key contact, the Procurement Business Partner:

- Translates business requirements into procurement activities.
- Provides strategic support for procurement projects.
- Collaborates with global teams and site management to deliver best-in-class procurement support.
- Monitors progress and provides regular updates to business stakeholders.
- Represents Takeda’s values and code of conduct in all interactions.

Responsibilities include:

- Administration of procurement activities and supplier management.
- Decision-making to ensure quality product/raw material flow and service delivery.
- Negotiation of total cost and optimization of supplier relationships.
- Internal and external communication to resolve issues impacting operating efficiencies.

**How You Will Contribute**

**1. Continuity of Supply and Services**:

- Work with colleagues from Supply Chain, Quality and other relevant support functions to ensure availability of materials and services for Site Manufacturing Operations.
- Lead communication around supplier performance, projects, complaints and escalations to avoid disruption to manufacturing. Provide auxiliary forecast information to key suppliers and ensure key suppliers have the capabilities to fulfill Takeda’s demands.
- Lead and support risk analysis and work with category management to identify and mitigate risks for assigned commodities.
- Provide consultation to management and other groups regarding supplier/ commodity issues, which may impact operations and provide purchasing and supplier management expertise to technical, and engineering staff.

**2. Project Support**:

- Manage supplier related milestones and ensure timely achievement of milestones
- ensure new sourced auxiliaries and services are available when needed

**3. Cost Control**:

- Assist in the annual standard costing process and provide price forecasts. Maintain standard costing program to ensure a favorable Purchase Price Variance.
- Create cost saving opportunities through competitive bidding, negotiations, etc., while maintaining ethical practices and win-win outcomes for both parties.
- Initiate projects that eliminate non-value-added activities, increase quality and service and reduce costs.
- Identify cost savings opportunities and submit Value Improvement Projects for evaluation and execution.
- Negotiate on behalf of Takeda with suppliers on price, delivery and other terms in accordance with the legal policies and procedures.
- Know the spend and spend development of your assigned categories.

**4. Stakeholder Management**:

- Know the site budget relevant for the categories you are responsible for
- Develop and provide training and guidance to stakeholders.
- Be able to problem solve, recognize and anticipate stakeholder’s requirements and identify the urgency of these needs.
- Make prompt judgment calls and keep stakeholder satisfaction in a quality environment.
- Learn and deploy purchasing practices and procedures. Communicate effectively this information to all levels of management.
- Provide local/regional support, act as SME for procurement policies and processes.
- Participate and represent Site Procurement in critical site meetings
- Act in accordance with Lean Management principles
- Get acquainted with the Site Value Add Processes. Be regularly at the shop floor
- Provide guidance on supplier communication and on how to deal with suppliers in accordance with Takeda’s values (TakedaISM).

**5. Supplier Relationship Management**:
