### About The Job As an **Enterprise Account Executive - NSW at Verkada**, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth for one of the fastest-growing technology companies in the world. This is a **hunting-focused role**, offering you the opportunity to shape and build your territory from the ground up. Our mission is clear: **to protect people and places in a privacy-sensitive way** through our innovative, cloud-based physical security solutions. You will manage the full sales cycle—developing a territory plan, prospecting, onboarding channel partners, and closing deals. Success in this role requires grit, resilience, and a focus on **multithreading accounts** to engage decision-makers across all levels of an organisation. We’re building a world-class sales organisation, where your drive, resilience, and ability to create meaningful customer relationships will be key to success. ### Responsibilities - **Source and close new enterprise business** to consistently exceed quarterly sales quotas. - Build a deep understanding of Verkada’s products and their applications across industries such as healthcare, retail, and corporate. - **Develop and execute a territory plan**, including research, lead generation, and account prioritisation. - Manage the full sales cycle: prospect, conduct demos, craft proposals, and close deals. - Drive revenue growth through onboarding and collaborating with channel partners. - **Multithread accounts**, engaging stakeholders at various levels within target organisations. - Act as a trusted adviser to enterprise customers, fostering long-term relationships. - Partner with Solution Engineers to ensure smooth product launches and drive future growth. - Maintain accurate pipeline management with expert-level forecasting. - Provide market/client feedback to the product and engineering teams to refine offerings. ### What We’re Looking For - **Experience:** - 5–10 years of quota-carrying sales experience, with a proven track record in enterprise sales. - Experience building and managing a territory from scratch. - Familiarity with IT channel partners is a strong advantage. - **Skills & Attributes:** - **Executive Presence:** Confident and polished, able to lead meetings with senior executives (e.g., CSOs at ASX 250 companies). - **Grit and Resilience:** A self-starter who thrives on prospecting and hunting new business. - **Sales DNA:** Proven ability to exceed targets, with a strong understanding of the “physics of sales” (input vs. output). - **Coachable and Curious:** Open to feedback, works collaboratively, and continuously seeks growth opportunities. - **Organised and Analytical:** Creates a data-driven territory plan and executes effectively. - **Local Network:** Brings strong connections within NSW, particularly in key industries such as healthcare or retail. - **Multithreading Skills:** Demonstrated ability to engage multiple stakeholders within accounts, both up and down the organisation. - **Creative and Collaborative:** Partners with marketing to drive growth initiatives for the territory.
