About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineering Lead to join our team at Raiffeisen Group IT GmbH. As a key member of our Site Reliability Engineering team, you will be responsible for driving the design and development of our application and data platforms, while also mentoring and supporting other engineers in their technical growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and guide other team members on design techniques and coding standards
  • Design and implement secure architectures, integrating security into automated workflows and platforms development
  • Identify innovation potential and improve technical solutions within the platform domain
  • Lead the technical design and development of our self-service platform
  • Enable observability to help understand and monitor the internal state of the system and our services
  • Ensure quality at every stage of the product development lifecycle
  • Contribute to the development of a successful disaster recovery strategy
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong understanding of DevOps processes and good knowledge of toolset for continuous delivery (e.g., ArgoCD, Jenkins, TeamCity)
  • Experience with infrastructure as a service (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
  • Good knowledge of Linux or UNIX-based system architecture
  • Experience with containers and containers orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift
  • Experience with monitoring and monitoring technologies (e.g., Prometheus, Datadog, Grafana, Kibana, Elasticsearch)
