Job Overview

As the Senior Director of Product Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product offerings at Dynatrace. Your leadership will be crucial in nurturing a high-performing team of product managers, ensuring they possess the necessary skills to meet the evolving demands of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Lead Teams: Cultivate and enhance the capabilities of product management teams, ensuring a diverse skill set that aligns with organizational goals.
  • Champion Best Practices: Advocate for effective product management methodologies and tools, providing guidance and mentorship to foster excellence among product managers.
  • People Leadership: Oversee essential leadership functions including recruitment, onboarding, training, mentoring, and career advancement for product managers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Spearhead initiatives that promote synergy between departments, ensuring seamless communication and alignment among product managers and stakeholders.
  • Customer Engagement: Enhance communication strategies with customers and customer-facing teams to improve feedback mechanisms and support processes.
  • Collaborative Alignment: Work closely with fellow directors to maintain consistency in methodologies and best practices across the product management function.
  • Promote Company Culture: Embody and promote the core values and culture of Dynatrace, fostering an inclusive and innovative work environment.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in product management or a related role within a software product organization.
  • Leadership: At least 4 years of experience leading product management teams, ideally with teams of 10 or more.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with application performance or cloud technologies.
  • Team Building: Proven track record of developing high-caliber product management teams through effective implementation of methodologies and best practices.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Communication: Strong sense of ownership and accountability, coupled with excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization.
