Position Overview
As an HRIS Specialist, you will serve as a crucial link between our HR systems and local HR teams. This role positions you as the primary resource for Valneva's HR technology, where you will lead system enhancements in collaboration with HR colleagues to elevate the overall People Experience across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive digital transformation initiatives and collaborate with IT and software vendors to implement system upgrades and configurations.
  • Assist local HR teams in Europe and North America with daily inquiries related to user access, security settings, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain and update all Valneva HR systems, including Recruitment, HR Core, and Performance Management.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for HRIS-related inquiries and escalations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, user guides, and training materials to facilitate HRIS usage.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to optimize processes and workflows through automation and system enhancements.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in HR and HR Information Systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR Management or a related field (HR Consulting, IT, etc.).
  • Strong self-organization skills and a quick understanding of business-oriented behavior.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Experience in leveraging data to derive actionable insights.
  • Detail-oriented with proactive problem-solving abilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent command of English; proficiency in German is a plus.
  • A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

Due to legal requirements, we disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is EUR 55,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. Salaries are competitive and aligned with qualifications and experience.
