Position Overview
As an HRIS Specialist, you will serve as a vital link between our HR systems and local HR teams. This role positions you as the primary resource for Valneva's HR technology systems, where you will spearhead system enhancements in collaboration with HR colleagues to elevate the overall People Experience within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive digital transformation initiatives and work alongside IT and software vendors to implement system upgrades and configurations, potentially transitioning to more suitable HR solutions.
  • Assist local HR teams in Europe and North America with daily inquiries related to user access permissions, security settings, and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Maintain and update all Valneva HR systems concerning Recruitment, HR Core, Performance Management, and other HR-related functions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for HRIS-related questions and escalations.
  • Develop and sustain documentation, user guides, and training materials to facilitate HRIS usage throughout the organization.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to optimize processes and workflows through automation and system enhancements.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in HR and HR Information Systems.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or a related field (HR Consulting, IT, etc.).
  • Strong self-organization skills with a quick understanding of business-oriented behavior.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Experience in utilizing data to derive insights that inform decision-making.
  • Detail-oriented with proactive problem-solving abilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
  • A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
