Logistics and Sales Operations Manager

The BMW Group is rapidly expanding, and the optimized management of vehicle stock and distribution channels will play an increasingly crucial role. The European Sales Operations department is seeking support with these new tasks.

Areas of Responsibility
  • In collaboration with national sales teams, your primary responsibility will be to support the transition into the new sales model and ensure the consistency of Europe-wide vehicle call-off processes (e.g., vehicle documents, certificates, payment, and delivery processes).
  • You will continuously monitor the logistic & financial vehicle flow and manage incidents by identifying & evaluating problems, deriving measures, and coordinating communication with relevant process partners in case of delays or disturbances (e.g., delivery holds).
  • As the main interface to invoicing & logistics functions in various markets, you will ensure functional and compliant sales operations processes for invoicing and vehicle logistics (among others IVS-R / CARDO+ / VDS / COSMIC).
  • You will maintain close exchange with the European Sales Operations Team in Munich and contribute to the improvement of respective systems & processes.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • University studies with business orientation (e.g., business administration with a focus on logistics or accounting) completed successfully, accompanied by at least 3 years of professional experience in the automotive or logistics sector.
  • Alternatively, a vocational training (e.g., logistics or industrial clerk) completed with at least 10 years of professional experience in the automotive or logistics sector.
  • Confidence in handling and communicating with various interface partners, specialist departments, IT, and market functions.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Problem-solving and customer-focused mindset.
  • Personal initiative, independence, and 100% reliability.
  • Team spirit and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent business English and intercultural skills; another European language would be desirable.
