About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Market Team Manager to join our global Partner Services department in Vienna. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Account Managers and collaborating with your Area Manager to improve hotel availability and supply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage performance and outcome of your individual team members, providing motivational and developmental feedback, and holding performance/appraisal conversations.
  • Define, steer, and achieve operational/commercial performance goals of the team.
  • Be available and approachable to your team, creating an open and safe environment for them to thrive.
  • Facilitate each team member's development by creating learning opportunities and giving them the freedom to experiment.
  • Challenge your team to think outside the box and provide direction and focus by setting reasonable and realistic expectations.
  • Positively reinforce and empower your team through recognition of their successes.
  • Be a role model by sharing your passion, engagement, and commitment.
  • Set and achieve relevant, ambitious targets for your business scope.
  • Drive change positively and secure business coverage by active recruitment.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in a comparable management function.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Affinity/experience within e-travel and/or hotel/travel industry.
  • Enthusiastic, sense of responsibility, friendly, and ability to work independently.
  • Quick and resourceful, flexible, accurate, strong analytical skills, and an eye for detail.
  • Great face-to-face and telephone communication skills.
  • Self-starter who enjoys working in e-travel and hospitality.
  • Business-focused with a positive attitude.
  • University background preferred.
  • Driver's license.
  • Availability to travel 30% of the time.
