Senior Project Manager for Iron Processing

We are currently seeking a Technical Manager for Iron & Steelmaking Projects to join our team at our Linz location on a full-time basis. Job ID: 14218
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Analyze technical documents (e.g., manufacturing standards) and commercial terms (e.g., packaging and logistics conditions) specified in customer contracts relevant to your equipment.
- Prepare project-related tender documents for your equipment in collaboration with the engineering and technology department.
- Ensure that tender documents are issued to potential suppliers in time to enable them to prepare their bids.
- Select the best supplier based on consideration of project requirements in close cooperation with the purchasing department and project management.
- Closely track supplier progress, ensure proper expediting & quality activities are conducted, and initiate mitigation measures as necessary.
- Involve the logistics department to ensure timely shipment of your equipment to the building site.
- Coordinate preparation of customer documentation for quality, delivery, erection, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Support the site team for erection and commissioning issues.
- Contribute actively to claim management for your equipment in close coordination with the purchasing department.
- Contribute to project closure and lessons learned.
