Job Title: Credit Risk Data Analyst

Erste Group Bank AG is seeking a skilled Credit Risk Data Analyst to join our team in Vienna, Austria. As a key member of our Credit Portfolio Steering department, you will play a crucial role in monitoring the development of our loan portfolio and ensuring the effective implementation of our credit risk strategies.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with Erste Digital and other data users to ensure seamless integration of our DataMarts.
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the Crisp Agile Team, coordinating requirements, sprints, and prioritization.
  • Prepare analytical data frameworks for internal, regulatory, and management needs.
  • Develop and improve our reporting data visualization capabilities using tools like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Continuously enhance our portfolio steering function to drive business growth and risk management.
Your Background:
  • You are a logical thinker with a passion for solving complex problems.
  • You possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and errors in data to support decision-making processes.
  • You have proficiency in SQL and SAS to query, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases.
  • You are proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and VBA scripting for data manipulation, visualization, and reporting.
  • You have a background in data science, IT, mathematics, or a similar field, with a strong interest and preferably experience in banking and credit risk.
  • You excel in communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • You are fluent in English and German.
