About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Material Planner to join our team at Alstom. As a Material Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain, from procurement to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Analyze data to inform procurement decisions and optimize supply chain performance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supply chain or procurement role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
