About the Role:

The primary objective of this position is to provide strategic support to the Employee Life Cycle operations, ensuring alignment with business needs and legal regulations. This role will handle local requests, adhere to policies and procedures, and facilitate continuous improvement of HR and workplace management services locally. The HR Business Partner will serve as the first point of contact for line managers and employees, addressing their requests in a timely and efficient manner.

Main Responsibilities:
  • HR Administration: Ensure the accuracy, accessibility, and security of company and employee-related records, in compliance with Austrian Labour Code. This includes job history, employee contracts, leave records, and details of illness, absences, transfers, and salary progression.
  • Employee Life Cycle: Ensure proper attention to employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle phases, including Attraction, Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance Development & Retention, and Separation, in line with HR policy guidance.
  • People Management: Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop administrative support staff to ensure administrative activities are completed on time, according to established standards, and within established budgets.
  • Workforce Planning and HR Budgeting: Manage the Workforce planning process in the internal system, in line with HC structure needs, and create and maintain budgets.
  • Expatriate Management: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of company and expatriate-related records, in compliance with Group Expat Policy.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR
  • Bachelor's degree
  • German language - native speaker
  • English - fluent oral and written knowledge
  • SAP knowledge
  • Awareness and knowledge of Austrian Labour legislation
  • Negotiation skills and good organizational skills
  • Reliability, accuracy, and confidentiality as personality qualities
  • Ability to work independently, take initiatives, and follow-up assigned projects
  • Ability to communicate plans across a cross-functional and/or highly matrixed organization
