About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Marriott International. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene, and leading a team of culinary professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the dining experience for our guests.
  • Ensure that all kitchen staff are trained and equipped to provide exceptional service and maintain high standards of quality and hygiene.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement kitchen policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and control kitchen expenses, including food costs, labor costs, and inventory management.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and facilities are maintained in good working order and comply with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a 5-star hotel or fine dining restaurant.
  • Proven track record of leading a team and achieving high standards of quality and service.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
