Executive Chef Opportunity at Marriott International

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at the Hotel Imperial Vienna, a Luxury Collection Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure smooth service operations and high-quality food production.
  • Develop and implement menus and promotions for all outlets, ensuring consistency and excellence in culinary standards.
  • Oversee purchasing and inventory management, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety, adhering to HACCP guidelines.
  • Optimize kitchen department productivity, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Perform and oversee employee trainings regarding quality and safety standards, as well as staff development.
Requirements:
  • Professional experience in leading a kitchen team in luxury hotels or fine-dining gastronomy.
  • Technical and leadership skills, with a focus on quality assurance and control.
  • Social competence and teamwork, with the ability to lead an international team.
  • Quality awareness and organizational strength, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Creativity, passion, and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering exceptional dining experiences.
