We are in search of a (Junior) Operations Controller who can utilize their analytical skills and early career experience to enhance the performance of our Global Operations Controlling Team. In this position, you will assist the finance and operations departments of Red Bull subsidiaries, focusing on Cost of Sales-related activities.

In addition to reporting on budget versus actual cost discrepancies, you will investigate the fundamental factors behind these differences, applying your knowledge to identify trends and areas for improvement. Your capability to interpret data, convey insights effectively, and collaborate across various teams will be essential in optimizing processes and delivering value in this global role.

Key Responsibilities

MONTH & YEAR END CLOSING

  • Collaborate closely with the finance teams of Red Bull subsidiaries to guarantee the precision of month and year-end closing data in our systems, particularly concerning Cost of Sales and Inventories (including annual inventory revaluation).
  • Assist in the financial closing process, generate reports, and perform analyses for MEC.
  • Ensure accurate financial evaluations based on current business developments.
  • Take responsibility for aiding subsidiaries in resolving issues and continuously enhancing these processes.

PLANNING CYCLES

  • Support Red Bull subsidiaries in business planning and revised forecasts to ensure technical accuracy.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of the latest business developments into planning cycles.
  • Analyze planning data and secure the content-related quality of data input.
  • Provide variance analysis.

PROJECT WORK

  • Engage in finance and operations-driven projects.
  • Address cross-functional topics and support their implementation.
  • Lead projects from a controlling perspective.

PROCESSES & KNOWLEDGE

  • Maintain documentation and guidelines up to date and contribute to ongoing process optimization.
  • Support internal finance training sessions.
  • Enhance quality and efficiency within the controlling function.
Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years of experience in controlling, showcasing a solid understanding of financial processes and analysis.

University degree in Business Administration/Finance.

Fluent in English.

Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, with a strong understanding of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

You have a high affinity for IT, with hands-on experience using SAP ERP, SAP BI, and Hyperion.

You possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, evaluate, and interpret complex data to derive valuable insights.

Focused on achieving results, you are performance-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.

Capable of clearly communicating with internal stakeholders and across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and understanding.

You are self-motivated, eager to learn, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can work effectively under pressure.

You take ownership of challenges, proactively creating and implementing effective solutions.

Additional Information

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2.229 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
