Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Lam Research Corporation. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing purchase requisitions, processing purchase change orders, and managing purchase order releases to meet demand requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze purchase requisitions to ensure accurate and timely processing
- Process purchase change orders and requests for quotes to suppliers
- Manage purchase order releases daily to meet demand requirements
- Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning, and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost-effective and timely manner
- Work with suppliers on a daily basis to ensure scheduled deliveries are met
- Develop and maintain key supplier relationships with day-to-day interface to review open action items, supplier performance, and future demand and cost reductions forecasting
- Commercial education, e.g., apprenticeship (LAP) or HAK
- Work experience in an industrial environment is an asset but not a requirement
- Very good MS Office skills
- ERP/SAP skills preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees in the Metal Technology Industries in occupation group D or E, depending on education. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills.
The chosen candidate will be hired through a third-party employment agency.
