About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Lam Research. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and processing purchase requisitions, as well as managing purchase order releases to meet demand requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze purchase requisitions to ensure accurate and timely processing
- Manage purchase order releases to meet demand requirements, ensuring timely delivery of materials
- Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning, and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost-effective and timely manner
- Develop and maintain key supplier relationships to ensure scheduled deliveries are met
- Monitor and maintain weekly reports to track procurement activities
Requirements
- Commercial education, such as an apprenticeship or HAK
- Work experience in an industrial environment is an asset, but not required
- Excellent MS Office skills, with proficiency in ERP/SAP systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
What We Offer
This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees in the Metal Technology Industries. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills. The chosen candidate will be hired through a third-party employment agency.
