Procurement Specialist

About the Role:
Lam Research Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and processing purchase requisitions, as well as managing purchase order releases daily to meet demand requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze purchase requisitions to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Process purchase requisitions in a timely and efficient manner
- Manage purchase order releases daily to meet demand requirements
- Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning, and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost-effective and timely manner
- Work with suppliers on a daily basis to ensure scheduled deliveries are met
- Develop and maintain key supplier relationships with day-to-day interface (peer level) to review open action items, supplier performance to commitments of on-time deliveries, future demand, and future cost reductions forecasting
Requirements:
- Commercial education - e.g. apprenticeship (LAP) or HAK
- Work experience in an industrial environment would be an asset but not a requirement
- Very good MS Office skills
- ERP/SAP skills preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
What We Offer:
- This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees in the Metal Technology Industries in occupation group D or E depending on education
- A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills
