About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Optimization Lead to join our team at RBI Group. As a key member of our Group Financial Steering department, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial optimization and value creation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and develop a team of experts responsible for controlling RBI Austria (AT) Business bank and Holding functions.
  • Coordinate all activities of the controlling team within Group Financial Steering and cooperate with other departments within RBI AT.
  • Coordinate process and methodology improvement activities of the controlling team within Financial Steering department.
  • Implement improvements in cooperation with other departments within RBI.
  • Be a central contact and challenge point for business partners and other Finance colleagues for RBI controlling topics.
  • Be responsible for the planning process (forecasting and budgeting).
  • Be responsible for content analysis of business development/key financial indicators.
  • Develop and maintain regular reporting cycles.
  • Challenge new projects/initiatives brought by business/other teams or management related to AT.

Requirements

  • University degree in Finance or related fields.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in Banking, preferably in finance/treasury/risk area.
  • Pro-activeness, ability to adapt to changing situations easily, eagerness to continuously learn and develop.
  • Profound communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent command of English, other languages are a plus.
