Financial Steering Functional Lead (f/m/x)

This role is situated within the Group Financial Steering department, which operates under the Group CFO Area of RBI Group. The department focuses on guiding RBI Group from a financial performance perspective and aims to enhance the utilization of financial resources. It works in close collaboration with key stakeholders and decision-makers throughout the organization.

We are seeking a Functional Lead who will oversee the controlling functions for RBI Austria. If you possess extensive experience in finance and a strong commitment to driving optimization and value creation, this position is tailored for you. Your responsibilities at RBI

As a Functional Lead, you will manage and develop a team of specialists responsible for the controlling of RBI Austria's Business bank and Holding functions. You will oversee all activities of the controlling team within the Group Financial Steering and facilitate collaboration with other departments within RBI Austria. You will lead process and methodology enhancement initiatives for the controlling team within the Financial Steering department. You will implement improvements in cooperation with various departments across RBI. You will serve as a central point of contact and a critical challenge point for business partners and finance colleagues regarding RBI controlling matters. You will manage the planning process, including forecasting and budgeting. You will conduct content analysis of business development and key financial indicators. You will establish and maintain regular reporting cycles. You will critically assess new projects and initiatives proposed by business teams or management related to RBI Austria.


Your essential qualifications

A university degree in Finance or a related field. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Banking, ideally in finance, treasury, or risk management. A proactive approach, adaptability to changing circumstances, and a strong desire for continuous learning and development. Strong communication, presentation, and leadership capabilities. Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
