Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join our team at macio GmbH. As a key member of our accounting operations, you will be responsible for overseeing our financial reporting processes, leading a team of accounting professionals, and contributing to our financial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and supervise monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and UGB standards.
  • ERP Implementation: Contribute to the implementation of an ERP system for accounting in Austria.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the accounting team and ensure the professional development of employees.
  • External Relations: Serve as a contact person for external institutions, such as auditors and fiscal authorities.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with departments across the organization to maintain strategic alignment.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in a comparable accounting position.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards (UGB), supported by practical work experience.
  • ERP Experience: Experience with an ERP system in accounting.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial processes and ability to work beyond traditional accounting functions to drive strategic financial initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams and take on responsibilities.
  • Language Skills: Excellent German and English skills.
