Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Strategic Financial Assistant to support the Vice President of Finance, Continuous Improvement in managing the Finance Transformation Portfolio.

  • This role combines program management, project execution, and executive communications to oversee the Finance Transformation Portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a detail-oriented approach and a hands-on attitude, balancing big-picture thinking with meticulous attention to project details.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Support the VP Finance in operational tasks, collaborating with various Functional Departments such as Magna IT, HR, Finance, and Magna Groups and Divisions.
  • Prepare management presentations in English, tailored for executive audiences.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, and Operations, to ensure seamless program execution.
  • Foster a positive change environment by engaging stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements
  • University degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in Finance functions of large corporates or relevant experience in the consulting sector.
  • Solid understanding of project management approaches, with experience working on cross-functional projects.
