Job Purpose

As a Country Manager for Austria, you will lead the business to achieve financial and operational objectives, including business growth and market share development/retention, profitability, revenue, and productivity. You will be responsible for defining the line of business strategy at the country level, planning and organizing effective business management and operations, and overseeing sales and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define line of business strategy at the country level in line with overall business strategy and objectives
  • Plan, organize, and ensure effective business management and operations at the country level for a specific line of business
  • Oversee and monitor sales and operations for the line of business, and accounting, purchasing, personnel, and/or financial functions, if required
  • Ensure P&L (EBITA, etc.), cost, and revenue management for the line of business
  • Monitor consolidated budget for the line of business and recommend course corrections for variances to budgets
  • Assess and report country performance and recommend plans for improvement
  • Drive exploration and exploitation of growth opportunities
  • Resolve conflicts/issues and ensure effective execution for critical areas such as matters related to product and market strategy, business development, investments, etc.
