Your Mission

Our Finance team has played a crucial role in Prewave's success, and we are now looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to help us scale our performance reporting. You will work closely with our centralized Finance team in Vienna, ensuring the financial success of our operations. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to optimize financial outcomes.

What sets our Finance team apart is our 'partner-first' approach, creating strong communication loops with the wider business to minimize bottlenecks and ensure efficient decision-making.

As our Finance Business Partner, you will:

  • Partner with the Finance Director and department heads to develop and maintain performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting systems.
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate key financial and operational performance indicators to the management team for informed decision-making.
  • Develop and implement robust finance processes and policies that align with our rapidly growing business needs.
  • Actively communicate key risks and opportunities, proposing new approaches to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop plans for maximizing profitability, reducing costs, and increasing revenue.
  • Lead annual and quarterly budget and forecast exercises with all departments, tracking performance against budget.
  • Develop financial models and forecasts to guide long-term planning and strategy.
  • Perform and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to inform business decisions.
  • Improve month-end close to enable timely reporting of results and facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Support the roll-out of our Accounting ERP system and other finance tooling to ensure seamless financial operations.
Your Profile
Must-Haves
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in finance, with a minimum of 7-8 years working with dedicated FP&A teams in corporates or consulting environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business planning, financial planning (forecasting/budgeting), and analysis.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of creating clear presentations and conveying complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with strategic concepts that can propel the company forward or alter its strategic direction.
  • Recognized as an excellent communicator.
  • Acts as a facilitator of finance within the business, ensuring all levels understand how to generate value.
  • Valid work permit for the EU.
