Human Resources Specialist

Valneva is a leading specialty vaccine organization dedicated to the development, production, and marketing of preventive vaccines for infectious diseases that address significant medical needs.

Key ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for an enthusiastic HR Specialist who will be instrumental in promoting the company's success by managing and executing human resources initiatives throughout the employee lifecycle. Working closely with team leaders and our local and global HR teams, you will ensure these initiatives align with the organization's goals and comply with all regulatory standards:
- Efficiently manage operational processes and uphold high quality standards for the local HR department by overseeing the administration of contracts, agreements, policies, procedures, and HR-related programs.
- Provide support and guidance to team leaders and employees during transitional periods, collaborating with the local work council as needed.
- Identify, design, and implement local HR initiatives in partnership with the local and global HR teams.
- Oversee and evaluate HR programs and policies throughout the employee lifecycle, working closely with the Director of Human Resources.
- Assist HR team members in achieving strategic HR goals and ensure timely access to necessary information for effective daily operations.
- Guarantee full compliance of HR processes with both internal and external legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience: 3-5 years of HR experience in a specialist or generalist capacity, ideally within an international and dynamic business setting
- Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal requirements for Austria, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, strong organizational and time management skills, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Attributes: A genuine passion for people, culture, employee experience, and an efficient HR organization, with a proactive, open-minded, and independent work style.
- Languages: Proficient in English and German (C1 level)

In compliance with legal obligations, we are required to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 55,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. However, our salaries are competitive and aligned with your qualifications and experience.
